A structural raised area is also known as a mezzanine floor. It is made from steel and only requires a few pillars to support the raised area. This provides flexibility on how the storage area is utilised.

Rack Supported Raised Storage Area

Using the racking structure to support the raised area, platforms can be created to allow for picking on several levels. As the racking below provides a level for storing of stock lines. Shelving can be placed on the raised area for an additional picking zone, either our Open Span or Rolled Upright Shelving is an ideal choice.

Our raised storage areas are designed in a way to integrate with stairs. Stairs provide an easy and safe method for the passage of people from the ground floor to the raised area.
